Dr. Brittny Silke
PT, DPT, PWR!, Certified Para-lifting
Brittny Silke, PT, DPT has been involved in the rehabilitation industry since 2011. She began working in the Human Performance Lab in undergrad at the University of Central Florida assisting with performance testing, movement analysis and research for Division I Athletics, the general undergraduate and graduate student bodies. She also provided strength and conditioning programs to the Division I Sport Club Programs through the Recreational Department.
Brittny completed her doctoral program in 2018 from the University of Florida where she completed a year-long clinical internship focused on sport orthopedics and outpatient neurological rehabilitation.
She has also worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics as both an exercise physiologist and rehabilitation aide, with experience teaching specialized group exercise classes for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s, leading rehabilitation “Back School” and cardiac rehab programs. She also has experience working with adaptive athletes of all levels, from novice to Olympic level.
Being an accomplished competitive athlete and prior coach herself, Brittny understands having a health and fitness forward mindset and uses that in her treatment approaches. She recognizes looking beyond just resolving your pain and seeks to prioritize your goals with individualized care.
